Sveaskog and Linafallet Lodge have signed a three-year contract. The contract relates to the leasing of hunting rights for big game on 3,200 hectares of land in the Kirves area, south east of Gällivare.
“In order to further develop the company, it was important for us to gain access to larger areas of land for hunting and fishing. The Kirves lease provides us with this opportunity,” comments Andreas Olofsson, tourism entrepreneur at Linafallet Lodge.
Sveaskog has a clear mandate from its owner to promote nature-based tourism by letting land. An increasing number of contracts are now being signed with local contractors.
“Sveaskog is a safe party to negotiate with and we want to provide excellent offers and clear agreements. We provide our customers with support for marketing and business development, as well as access to a network of other tourism entrepreneurs,” explains Gunilla Andersson, company lease officer, Sveaskog Naturupplevelser AB.
Linafallet Lodge has been running hunting and fishing activities since 2007. The company’s specialities are exclusive and genuine hunting packages in a beautiful natural environment. The customers are almost exclusively foreign hunters.
“We are very pleased to be able to cooperate with Linafallet Lodge as a new nature tourism entrepreneur in Kirves. We hope this revitalises the rural area and brings more job opportunities,” says Gunilla Andersson.
